Traineeships: Community Pharmacy New and Existing Workers
Traineeships combine practical experience in the workplace with structured training in the underpinning knowledge and further practical skills development. Traineeships are available for full-time or part-time employed new or existing workers who meet the eligibility criteria.
The training is competency based which means the student must demonstrate the knowledge and skills required to carry out work tasks to a standard that industry endorses. On successful completion the trainee is awarded a nationally recognized qualification.

Compulsory Student Fees
The majority of the cost of training is funded under an agreement with the Department of Training and Workforce Development, however under the Department Fees and Charges Policy a student fee is charged and payable by either the trainee or employer.
